Inversiones Representaciones SA (BUE:IRSA) is the only Real Estate Investment Trust in Argentina or listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange, the Bolsa.
Inversiones Representaciones was started in 1943.
Its purpose is the acquisition and management of office buildings, luxury hotels, shopping malls, apartment houses, and land reserves.
It has a subsidiary, Alto Palermo SA (APSA). They also own most of Mendoza Plaza Shopping SA, and the opened Alto Rosario Shopping.

In June 2008, subsidiary Alto Palermo acquired a site in Beruti 3351/3359, between Bulnes and Avenida Coronel Diaz in Palermo, Buenos Aires, near the shopping center "Alto Palermo Shopping."
Therefore, Inversiones Representaciones is a Fideicomiso Financiero Inmobiliario or REIT which hopefully will encourage more in Argentina.
