Centro Properties Group (ASX: CNP) is a fully integrated, stapled real estate investment trust that specializes in the ownership, management, leasing and development of retail shopping centers in Australia, New Zealand and The United States. Plus funds management.

Centro Properties has a diverse number of shopping centers -- regional, subregional, neighborhood, bulky goods, community, mall, and big box centers. In both metropolitan areas and nonmetropolitan areas. In the United States, they stick to suburban areas. Many centers contain supermarkets.

Centro is the largest landlord to Wesfarmers and Woolworth's in Australia, and to TJX and Kroger in the United States.

It began February 18, 1985, incorporating as Jennings Properties Limited, and was listed on the ASX in August that year. In 1991 it was renamed Centro Properties Limited. And in September 1997 it was restructed into an A-REIT under the current name.

Centro Properties Limited (CPL) provides management services. One unit of CNP is staped to CPL, and to Centro Properties Trust (CPT).
