Artis REIT (formerly Westfield) is a real estate investment trust investing in high quality commercial real estate properties (retail, office and industrial) in western Canada.
Artis was established in December 2003, and became a publicly traded REIT in December 2004. Its Toronto Stock Exchange ticker symbol is AX.UN. Headquarters are in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Armin Martens is Artis's President, Chief Executive Officer and trustee. Their asset and property manager is Marwest Management Canada Ltd, and it also provides administrative services.
