Temple Real Estate Investment Trust or TREIT is an open-end REIT that owns hotels in Canada.
TREIT's IPO (Initial Public Offering) was held on October 3, 2006. Their TSX Venture Exchange ticker symbol is TR.UN. Their first property they bought was Temple Gardens Mineral Spa. Now they have a total of nine hotels, over 1700 rooms.
Temple is managed by Shelter Canadian Properties Limited, a privately owned real estate development and management company. They also receive management services from Atlific Hotels & Resorts. Arni C. Thorsteinson is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Capri Centre, Clearwater Suite Hotel, Nomad Hotel & Suites, Merit Hotel & Suites, Franklin Suite Hotel, Vantage Inn and Suites, Best Western Wayside Inn & Suites, Temple Gardens Mineral Spa Resort Hotel, and Chateau Nova and Chateau Nova Suites.
Temple Real Estate Investment Trust is still a small REIT, but providing hotel services to people in Canada.
