Excel Trust (NYSE:EXL) is a real estate investment trust focused on retail centers such as supermarket anchored neighborhood centers, community and power centers, and freestanding retail outlets. They invest throughout the United States.
Excel began in 1978, started by Gary Sabin, the first real estate property focused only on retail properties. They are located in San Diego California. They completed the Initial Public Offering April 22, 2010.
