Feldman Mall Properties, Inc (NYSE:FMP) is a real estate investment trust (REIT) that invests only in shopping malls. It was formed to continue on the business of Feldman Equities of Arizona, LLC, which was formed in 1985. It renovates, re-tenant and repositions enclosed shopping malls, turning them into Class A. Their IPO was in December 2004.
Feldman Mall Properties owns seven regional malls, in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. FMP corporate headquarters are in Great Neck, New York.
Feldman Mall Properties, Inc is a REIT that is closely tied to the overall general retail sales economy, but is well diversified geographically.
