Inland Real Estate is a real estate investment trust (REIT) that acquires, owns and manages retail neighborhood, power, lifestyle and community shopping centers in the Midwest United States. It's based in Oak Brook, Illinois.
Inland now owns or manages 152 properties in 11 states with 14 million square feet -- $1.7 billion in assets. Its New York Stock Exchange ticker symbol is IRC. Many of their shopping centers are anchored by grocery store. Most are close to Chicago and northern Indiana, or Minneapolis-St Paul. Others are in Missouri, Nebraska, Texas, Idaho, Florida, Iowa, Ohio, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Michigan.
Their two largest tenants are SuperValu and Dominick's Finer Foods, a subsidiary of Safeway. They are a self-managed and self-administered REIT formed in 1994. They pay monthly dividends.

Richard's Plaza.
The REIT Inland Real Estate is dependent on the retail economy of the upper Midwest of the United States.
