Nationwide Health Properties is a REIT (real estate investment trust) that invests in senior housing facilities, long term care facilities and medical office buildings in the United States. Company headquarters are in Newport Beach California.

Nationwide Health's New York Stock Exchange symbol is NHP. They incorporated in October 1985. They acquire real estate, then leases the space under long term, triple-net master leases. They also have a dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP).
Nationwide has 562 properties in 43 states. 259 Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) and Independent Living Facilities (ILF). 186 Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) -- nursing homes. 65 Medical Office Buildings (MOB). 17 Other and 34 Unconsolidated JV Facilities. $4 billion worth of property.
