Parkway Properties's New York Stock Exchange symbol is PKY. It is a self-administered real estate investment trust. It specialized in the operation, ownership, leasing and acquisition of office real estate properties.
PKY is located in Jackson Mississippi, and is concentrated on the southwestern and southern United States, plus Chicago Illinois. It owns or has an ownership interest in 68 properties located in 11 states, with 140 million square feet.
They have a wholly-owned subsidiary, Parkway Realty Services (PRS) (founded in 1983), which provides real estate services, such as full-service leasing, acquisition, management, construction, disposition and tenant representation. This company also manages or leases 1.8 million square feet. PRS manages 74 buildings, for other parties, in buildings they have an ownership interest, and buildings they own 100%.
They do have a dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP) for investors. They are included in the S&P Small Cap 600 Index. Leland R Speed is the Chairman of the Board, and Steven G. Rogers is the President and Chief Executive Officer.

One Commerce Green in Houston Texas, Citicorp Plaza and Chatham Centre in Chicago Illinois, Falls Building, Forum I, II and III, Morgan Keegan Tower, Toyota Center, Wachovia Plaza in St Petersburg Florida, Honeywell, Wells Fargo, and Sugar Grove in Houston Texas.
Parkway is centered on the southern U.S., so their income is dependent on this area, but are well diversified in the best markets in this region.
