Urstadt Biddle Properties is a reit founded in 1969, and concentrates on community shopping centers in the Northeastern United States. It trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbols UBA and UBP. It's based on Greenwich Connecticut, and is one of the oldest real estate investment trusts publicly traded.

Urstadt Biddle has 43 properties with over 3.8 million square feet of leasable space. They like to concentrate on the affluent suburban areas of New York City -- Fairfield County, Connecticut and Westchester and Putnam Counties, New York. They have paid dividends every quarter since its founding in 1969. Its name was changed in 1998. It also has a dividend investment plan or DRIP for investors.
