RAIT Financial Trust is a REIT (real estate investment trust) that providing financing in many forms to commercial real estate investors, other REITs and real estate operating companies. It operates in the U.S. and Europe.

Taberna Securities uses trust preferred securities or subordinated notes (TrUPS) to provide long term capital to both public and private real estate companies.
