Ascott Resident Trust (A68U.SI) is a Singapore Real Estate Investment Trust which is part of The Ascott Limited, the world's largest international owner and operator of service residences.
The Ascott Limited was forced to be sold to CapitaLand, a large real estate company in Asia. But it had already started the largest pan-Asia serviced residence REIT in March 2006.
The Manager of Ascott Limited is Ascott Residence Trust Management Limited, an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of CapitaLand.
Ascott Residence owns properties in twelve different countries, in Asia (including Australia) and Europe.
