Mercialys is a French Real Estate Investment Trust or societes d'investissements immobiliers cotees which owns 130 shopping centers and self-service restaurants next to hypermarts or supermarkets operated by Groupe Casino, throughout France.
Their slogan is L'Esprit Voisin, which means the spirit of being a neighbor. Jacques Erhmann is the chairman.
It began life in 1988 under the name Sudeco, to manage Groupe Casino's properties. On October 12, 2005 Mercialys was taken public.
