NewRiver REIT (LSE:NRR) is a UK-REIT is focused on becoming the leader in the retail sector. It is based in London.
NewRiver REIT joined the Main Market as a REIT November 22, 2010. David Lockhart is Chief Executive. They own 8 shopping centers with a total of 1.3 million square feet. Their biggest single type of tenant is the food sector (22%).

Wrexham, Hope Street; Market Deeping, The Deeping Centre; Andover, High Street; Canterbury, High Street; East Ham, Sainsburys; Huddersfield, Packhorse Shopping Centre; Norwich, Guildhall Hill; and Widnes, Albert Square.
At just eight shopping centers, most of them in The Midlands, NewRiver REIT is a small Real Estate Investment Trust and not geographically diversified. But it is a new company and obviously growing.
